I've been posting, surfing, watching videos, playing games, etc for the last 7 or so hours and my battery life has only gone down to 80%. I am BLOWN AWAY by this iPad 2. So pleased I found it! Any other similar battery-life stories? Did anyone besides me think that the battery would be not as excellent as advertised or am I just being a bit silly?

Me me me !

I wanted to run it down to 0 to calibrate, used it a ton. 4 and a half days, probably 13 hours of use.

So much nicer to pick this up and carry it around the house than my 4.5 pound macbook :)

I have been pretty blown away too. Since the 4.3.1 update it has been even better. I noticed that running the battery down fully one time helped tremendously as well (yay reading the instructions).

I have been using my iPad 1 for about 3/4 hours downloading a huge number of apps with the screen very bright and has only gone down 14 or so percent. I updated to iOS 4.3.1 last night. Battery life is perfect

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

To me it seems comparable to the first gen iPad. And that was great!

Great battery life for me

Used it yesterday for 6 hours straight doing lots of Internet browsing, downloads from app store and other light tasks; however, I used the time Warner app to watch an entire hour of tv live (part of the 6 hours) and still had 55% battery left.

This was after I downloaded 4.3.1.

Awesome!

Rah rah. Leading question much? Incredibly? I find it fine. Incredible, no. My iPad 1 was noticeably better, and still not incredible.

Mine seems horrible compared to op. 9-4 moderate use. Was down to about 12%.

How do I recalibrate it? Run it down to zero? Full charge again?
