I have pre-ordered in the past with the 4s and UPS showed up late afternoon around 5pm. My watch didn't arrive until 7:30pm. With my 5s I was forced to stand in line because there was no pre-order. The experience was actually pretty fun. I'm leaning toward doing the same this year. I'm going to a concert the evening of the 25th and prefer not to be at home waiting for UPS to show up or possibly missing delivery because I'll need to leave around 5pm for the rock show.

With a free UPS my choice account you can have it hold at your local UPS. then you can come pick it up in the morning.

I'm in the exact same boat. AC/DC concert right? :)

I'll just have ups hold my phone and pick it up in the morning.

AC/DC would be awesome but I'm going to see some smaller punk rock bands (Good Riddance, Off with Their heads and Iron Chic).

I've considered having it shipped to work. We'll see...if work approves the day off I'll probably just line up. I had previously scheduled off Sept 18th in anticipation of that being the launch day. Which seems strange that it isn't.
 
haven't been standing in line since iPhone 4S! Pre-order online works well. But will be skipping this version due to heavily inflated Canadian prices.
 
I live in Small Town Kansas, the only long lines on Saturday will be across the street at Chick-Fil-A
