Very slight boost to CPU speed and updated keyboard.
Thanks. An updated keyboard?? I thought Apple updated the keyboard on the 2018 due to issues on the 2017. Sorry, but I'm not up-to-date with what's been going on with these MBP's. I've been delaying my purchase because of keyboard issues I've read. Can you tell me what Apple has done different to the keyboards?

Some minor tweaks. We don't know all the details.

Ordered 2.4 / 16gb / 512gb. Arrives next week.

Had a 2018 13” that was within return window, not expecting much difference, I was happy enough with the 2018, but thought it was worth returning and getting the latest one.

so you got a 2018 or 19? congrats!

Apple now lists all 13” MBP with a baseline 8GB of ram. Last yrs Core-i5 2nd tire came with 16GB.

The 13" MBP has always come with 8gb ram as standard. I have the 2018 model with the 512gb ssd and it only came with 8gb as standard. If you want 16gb it has always been a custom order. Some apple stores carry the i7/1tb ssd/16gb ram in store.

Nice! that's the 2,199 confirmation? Does the 16 ram make a big difference over the 8 in terms of the machine being snappers??

If you use VMs and and apps that require a lot of RAM then yes.. Normal usage no 8GB is fine.

Even 8GB is enough for one VM at a time if what you're doing in the VM is fairly lightweight. But 16 GB is definitely much better.

ordered one on 21 of May just when it was introduce. 13" i7 512GB 16GB 2.8Ghz. Arrived a few days ago. Even though the CPU usage is low (around 20-30%) its getting hot I thought its gonna be a bit cooler. I use this on a desk now so I don't care but in the summer outside in the wild on my laps...it won't be nice :)

Anyway I'm switching from 2010 MacBook pro so compared to that it feels better :)

Not sure on price as I’m in the UK. Also never had a 13” with 8gb so can’t compare to be honest.
