Who has a 30" cinema.. Need help???

I just got a refurbished 30" and I don't know if it is OK??
Could you help me??
Do you calibrate your monitors?
I want to know what the Native kelvin is on yours?
When I calibrate using an eye1 D2 set to 6500K, 2.2 gamma, 120 LUM.s
I have a bit of trouble getting a good calibration.
When I do get a good one, and compare an album that was printed with the original files they have a reddish tint, skin colors. it comes back with the 6500K that I entered.
Now if I enter Native temp into the program and run the calibration it It comes back saying white point, temp, is 11K .. that's nuts. Could my screen be out of wack?
I need to know because I shoot weddings and need good calibration that I can trust.

I have been on the phone with apple and would you believe they cannot tell what the native temp is supposed to be on the monitor.

They say native is 6500 aka target white.
However, if you are calibrating your display (which yes, I do) then printing and not getting similar prints then you also need to calibrate your printer or ensure you're using the same profile.

Prints not matching what is on screen of any display does not mean the display is at all faulty.

I have a feeling that my older eye1 D2 is not right.
I have run a diagnostics on it and it says it's ok but i don't believe it.

My calibration is too far off.

this is so stinking irritating. I guess I will have to buy a new one.

I got it!!!

The new puck did the trick.
I put in native for the temp and I got back 6200K, before was 11K,, wow what a difference.
I then calibrated at 6500k, 2.2 gamma, 120 Lum.s and I have a monitor that now matches my album..
yeah!
