How did u get the "in" on case reviews?
All you have to do is start a youtube channel with a few decent reviews. Then you can send in requests to companies for review samples. Once you are on a list for a particular company usually they will continue to send them to you. Also it helps if other people recommend you and what not or have a decent amount of followers. There are other ways but that is the easiest.
The problem is that with most of these folks who are "sponsored" their reviews tend to skew towards the review being favorable. Take any of the "big" reviewers and listen to their reviews. They aren't really reviews. More like overviews with what they like and then a shout out at the end (or beginning).
This may be because they don't use the case long enough or are just pleased too easily.
There are only a couple of good channels that have true reviews that seem as unbiased as can be. While it is impossible to be completely unbiased most of the videos of the "big" names are entirely favorable and show significant bias (look them up, I'm not naming names). True some of the big names do have some decent commentary but the pros versus cons are usually in favor of the pros with little to no cons. The "reviews" are just uneven and definitely not consistent.
To me, the only good thing about these "reviews" are that they give you a better look at the case and the ports and a good idea of the size of the case on the phone. The actual review portions generally leave something to be desired. I mainly subscribe to most of these channels so I can keep up to date with what is coming down the pipe and what things look like outside of the typical company pictures.
Oh, as for my cases, I own 31 not counting the many, many packages of screen shields/full body skins in my bucket of crap. I have too much money and really need a new hobby.
