I just got the unibody macbook today and was looking into a skin or case. I usually do not like cases since they just alter the original design and I am terribly afraid of skins because of the water issue. Phone skins I can deal with, but there are way too many openings on a laptop.

I'll mainly be taking this to and from school only when I need it. Other than that, it will stay at home on my desk resting on a rain design mstand. Would a sleeve suffice in my case?

Assuming you'll be carrying it in a bookbag (or something similar), I think you'll be fine with a sleeve. Nonetheless, I have Speck cases on my laptops - these babies just cost too much money for me not to have a little peace of mind.

BTW, mStands are awesome!

I love my mStand because it really reduces the slouched back thing like they advertise. I was thinking to get a sleeve instead, but there are so many out there, what should I get? I used to have a waterfield and a denim one from etsy, but misplaced them.
