Who is gaining to pre-order the AirTag? I think I will just pre-order one of them just to try one out since I do loose stuff off and on.

Doing a 4 pack and trying to convince myself to not get the indigo Hermes one.

Buying one with an apple leather keyring, if I like it will buy a 4 pack at some point.

Going to order a 4 pack, might as well, I have uses for two right away so makes sense just to get 4.

4 packet makes sense. A couple of me and give the other half the other 2. Will be interesting to see how they compare against Tile.

what's your experience with Tile - I know it relies on other Tile users. I would think Airtag could be about 100X more coverage

Doing the 4 pack with the Belkin holders as well. Surprisingly, Belkin is making a "Secure Holder with Strap" that Apple doesn't appear to be selling. It looks kinda like a zipper pull with a AirTag Holder on the end. Seems perfect for attaching to a backpack or even a jacket in a way that's a little more low key than Apple's loop. Link is here: https://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F8W974/

Also curious what people are considering for engraving. I want each to have something unique so I can tell them apart by sight. I'll do my initials and some emoji, but wondering if anyone has any creative ideas.

Only thing I'm doing is disabling the network on my devices.

I don't care to be part of Apple's network to help out its AirTag buyers.

What am I getting out of that?

The price is much lower than I thought it would be. For $26 I have to get one and put it on my key chain.
