Im sorry... but apple maps is garbage compared to google maps

Don't mean to over exaggerate, apple maps is kinda decent, at the same time... it has alot!!! Of catching up to do

I hope google releases google maps in the apps store along with youtube... I'd be willing to pay for it

And care to agree.. or disagree

What a piece of garbage!

I had faith in Apple, I didn't think they would do something so silly, but I see that they did. Google "just worked", it dealt well with anything you threw at it. The new map app does not. Many of the POIs are inaccurate, some of the roads are labeled with names that were changed years ago, it can't find directions for many of the routes I tried... It looks more like a 10 year old Chinese GPS device than an Apple app.

It's a pathetic piece of garbage. I would pay for a Google Maps app.

Simple,Google Maps worked...........This sucks...........Unfortunately this is way outdated in my local area, still shows businesses that closed over a decade ago, sadly there isnt a decent equivalent in the app store to compensate....Backwards step Apple big time. :(

Not good enough. Example - clicking on a contact's address from the address book.

it put the location on a map. it routed directions, gave me 3 options.

if you want to use google maps, c&p the address. you're not getting old maps back. it's done. do what you have to, whatever that is. sorry for the extra 10 seconds it takes you.

Did anyone else LOL when they clicked on the transit icon for directions only to be redirected to install transit apps? :p

That's going to piss some users off. Just get rid of the transit icon if it doesn't work.
