i dont think it is fake. this is a perfect example of why they want people to sign two year agreements when purchasing the new iphone 3G.

It's either fake, or the phones are stolen. I'm sorry, but nobody has 2 million bucks worth of iPhones laying around. Especially with the limits on how many one can buy. It would almost be impossible to accumulate 5.000 phones seeing as they haven't even been out for a year...

Also, either that ceiling is VERY low, or the boxes are enlarged in the photo. But I'll take a $20 iPhone, I guess.

How long would it take 1 person to unlock all those?

Can I "Buy Now" and get the unlocked phones by Thursday?

You're the sucker if you believe they would bid over $100,000 on ONE SINGLE IPHONE!!!

Sun Baked's quote, look at it, it says they are 16GB, but the title says 8GB... Its fake.

I have seen a scam similar to this on The Real Hustle, look at jpk32092's quote, it says its one iPhone, but the person will think its 5000 if they dont read this properly. They done it with some fake toy chairs on The Real Hustle and got someone to pay £600 for them, anyone seen that episode?

There is only 44 iPhones in that photo, BTW.

Ok class, let's go through our little math problem together. 5000 x $400 = $2 million.

It actually does not matter if it is real or not, If the deal is 5,000 iPhones, then if he does not give all 5,000 he is accused of fraud and sued for all 5,000 anyways! Also note, I am sure some warehouse has TONS, they might actually just be trying to get the last chance of money out of the phones....

The title is misleading. He just says he has a LOT of 5000 iPhones. That doesnt mean hes selling the lot in 1 auction, he just says he has the lot.

Then the description says "BRAND NEW 8GB IPHONE". That implies that the auction is for 1 iPhone. Then he says "THATS RIGHT 5000 AVAILABLE". Hes letting you know he has 5000 of them.

Also notice anyone can bid on this. Usually w/ auctions w/ high $ dollar amounts, the seller would make bidding only for pre-approved sellers.

Plus he has 0 feedback.
I'm going to watch this auction.

Also, check out the high bidder- note he has ONLY ever bid with this seller.

Can you say Shill?
