I run photoshop cs3 without any problems, and windows xp in parallel using VmWare fusion. Works fine on 1GB Ram, but i did upgrade to 3GB so now it's super fast, I love it.
Is there a long wait time for the programs to load? I was considering purchasing a MBP...but, no update at Macworld. I am now considering a Sony VGN-FZ4000 CTO for $2069.99 (comes out in Feb):

or a Macbook if it does Adobe programs well. I need some real advice and not flaming or "this is a mac forum" responses. Please, I want the best bang for my buck and want a great laptop to do graphic designing on. I don't want to spend all that money on a MBP when the Vaio seems like such a better deal...but, if I can save a grand on a Macbook and it does Photoshop and Illustrator at the same time and runs Windows XP/Vista without a hitch...then I'm game.
