I remember gawking at the HTC Evo, thinking there was no way a phone that size would ever be practical in daily use.

Its screen was only 4.3 inches!

In fact, it was sold as being so large, and such a media consumption device, that it had a kick stand :D

My how things have changed...

The Evo was still one of my favorite phones.
I was more than happy with the 4.3" phone. Too bad the service sucked balls!
Can't wait to jump back up to a nice size

Yup! My first Android. I remember the awe of a 4" screen. Too bad the battery life was absolutely horrific. I had to get an extended battery back that almost doubled the thickness! :p

This was one of my phones from back in the day so iPhone 6+ is considerably smaller.

I still had a Samsung dumb phone back then :D My first smartphone was a BlackBerry Storm 2. 3.25" screen! The 5 was an adjustment. I almost got a 4S because I thought the 5 was too tall at the time. Still not sure about the 6 yet.

I had a Palm Pre before getting an Evo. I liked the phone, but I didn't really like Android. Sprint just didn't have the iPhone... thank goodness that changed with the 4s.

I have left the Evo and the 4s behind and soon will be leaving Sprint behind. I did like the big screen and I know the iPhone 6 at 4.7" will more than satisfy.

7-months before the Evo there was the HTC HD2. That thing was a monster compared to the 'tiny' screens of its competition at the time.
