Who Stayed Up?

As I awake with my toddler at 6:00AM CDT, I see that 3.0 has not yet been posted. But that is not what I'm curious about.

What I want to know is who stayed up? Who stayed up all night? If you didn't stay up? What time did you go to bed (local time) or what time did you get up?

It'll be interesting to see the strategies employed by everyone.
 
I didn't stay up, but woke up about 2:15 Minnesota time to use the facilities. I though about checking to see of the update was out....but went back to bed instead. I've been home sick for two days and needed my sleep.

Apple will most likely wait until the most least convenient time for as many people as possible. :D

I've been up all night. Not for 3.0 though. I'm always up this late errr...early. I figure the only way to reset my internal clock is to exhaust myself.

OMG this is exactly what I do. I'm still up obviously. I do need to get to sleep since I have to go grocery shopping with my roommate at 3pm... Alas the life of a nerd. If only I was in Hong Kong, I'd be right on.
 
Well, I myself went to be at 11PM local time after watching a movie and got up at 6AM when my 13 month old daughter started crying.

How many times did you get up to "check"?
 
I didn't stay up, but I didn't sleep very well (not because of the upgrade), but at 3am EST I went and checked and it wasn't posted. When I woke up at 5:30am, still not there. I'll hate Apple forever if they wait until 11:59PM in Hawaii to post since techincally it will still be the 18th. :D
 
I am in Ohio, EST time. I got up at 5:00 am beacuse my cats are insane and ended up just staying up and coming on into work. I have been checking for the last couple of hours. No update yet as of 7:44 am.
 
I checked at about 1am EST. Then again at 6:15am EST when i got up. Still nothing.
 
Well, I don't want this to turn into a quessing thread, but according to the Apple sites, 3.0 comes out on the 18th in Singapore...which equals 9AM PDT. That appears to be about what happened last year.

Does anyone plan on taking a nap during the download?
 
The software will be released at 10am US pacific time. Use your Apple keynote/event time converter to determine when it will be available in your country.

That will really make me angry. This reminds me of last year. Waiting all day and not getting anything done at work until I was able to update the software. I was hoping they would release it by time zone and therefore maybe ease the traffic on the servers.

*sigh* still waiting....:eek:
