I did as well. Sold my iphone 5 first for $550 and upgraded for $690. Its Verizon model so its unlocked. Was it worth it? I really cant tell. But I got used to unlocking it with my fingerprint.

I paid £549 today for my 5S. Got £202 for my 4S so in a way I got it for £347.

I did. I sold my iPhone 5 and still have a ways to go before I'm eligible for a subsidized upgrade... paid $650 + $100 AC+

IMHO, it was worth it too. The iPhone 5 I had was fine, but I got about $500 for it plus with some birthday money was able to get the iPhone 5S. I do like the speed upgrade, camera upgrade, and Touch ID. I find myself trying to use my iPad Mini home button as a Touch ID sensor ;)

paid full price for two + apple care...

i have no problem paying full price since my monthly is riculously low.

with three lines and my discount i pay $112 bucks for unlmited everything

Do you mind sharing your secret?

I did, 32 gig silver. $677 with my trade in. Great purchase!! Love it! Cheap considering it's something I use everyday for so many different things I can't even count. No buyers remorse ever with idevices!

I did from white iphone 5 to space gray 5s. Paid full premium for the unlocked one. 16gb

EVERYONE paid the full price!!! Whether you paid it upfront or whether You took the two year plan. It still comes to the full price. Remember the price of the phone is added into the price of your plan over 24 months

I think he meant full price up front. But yes, over the course of 24 months you'll have paid full price. So these people are paying more than full price.

Ok, so if I buy an iPhone at *full* price from AT&T then I don't pay as much for my monthly bill as someone who paid for the subsidized price? Wrong. It's exactly the same monthly bill (except for work discounts--but they don't apply to this) Come on, you know that's not true for all carriers.

T-mobile does this and its awesome, but as far as I know they are the only major carrier that truly broke the subsidy from the hardware price and turned it into a true loan.

Count me in as well. Full price 64GB Verizon Space Gray with AppleCare +. I have a corporate line that I don't pay for and I buy my own device, so I can give my old phone to my wife. It's an expensive system, but I can swing it.

I paid full price for an unlocked 64GB GSM model because I had already used my upgrade a few months ago.

Me me + AppleCare+
No brainer when you have verizon unlimited for $63/month with 25% discount.

For AT&T (If you're not eligible for the subsidized price - and then next year choose to use the subsidized pricing for the iPhone 6): you save $50 by buying device only

Early upgrade is $200 off retail price

Example: 16 GB
(Device only) $649 + (next year, qualify for subsidized price) $199 = $848

Vs.

(Early upgrade) $449 + (Early upgrade for iPhone 6) $449 = $898

Full price in order to have Unlimited Data...

Bill is pretty low
