I transferred my number away from orange today. I know O2 state that the transfer could take upto 5 business days to complete but I wasn't actually expecting it to take that long - I just had the message from O2 telling me that my number will transfer next Friday.

Looks like I'll need to carry 2 phones around with me!!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Other than that I'm more than happy with my new toy!:D

I have my iphone but don't have my PAC yet. Can i activate now and supply the PAC later or does the PAC have to be given a registration?

you can forward the calls from your orange phone to your temp o2 number. Texts won't forward, but they're rarely urgent.

All gone well so far.

I get "O2 has found a problem with your existing mobile account" when I try to activate via iTunes with my PAC code.

I called O2, who obviously have had lots of similar calls. They say it is a technical issue and to try in the morning... :(
