I'm planning on buying a hard copy (the first non-textbook I'll be buying in God knows how long) - but it's only for sentimental value. I'll be reading his bio via my iPad and I wonder how many of you guys plan to (and how many will be reading the hard copies)?

I picked the hard cover. Pre-order from Barnes and Noble. Tracking info came today. Thing is, I won't get to start it on the 24th. Oh well...

I don't think I'll ever read a physical book again -- I've been totally spoiled by being able to adjust the font size. So yes, I'll be reading Steve's bio on my iPad.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4S: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

If I had an iPad, I'd read it on that. But instead I'll be reading it on my 4S.

Can't decide whether to go the physical copy just to have it (plus books are always nice) or read it on the iPad as Steve would have me do. Decisions!

I've had the biography on preorder for a while now, prior to Steve's death. Somehow it just seemed.....fitting to have the book on my iPad! Whether or not I'll read the whole thing on the iPad is another story, though; I will definitely start out with it on the iPad. Chances are that I'll more than likely end up buying a hardcover version of it as well, but, gee, this is just one book which HAS to be on my iPad and iPhone......

Absolutely! I was thinking about buying it in book-form but then i remembered that Steve would probably like it if i read the book on my iPad instead, so that's what i will do.

I preordered the hard cover from Amazon. While I do have books on my iPad, I do most of my reading at night, while in bed. My iPad gets pretty heavy use during the day, so most evenings it's being charged.

Truthfully, I prefer the tactile feel of books, plus I like to share them with friends. But not if they're on my iPad.

US$9.99 from Amazon for my Kindle, iPad, iPhone and Mac.

-OR-

A$16.99 from the iBooks Store for my iPad and iPhone.

I chose Amazon.

EDIT - Then I looked at the iBooks Store again and it's down to A$9.99. Well, guess I'm getting both then.

Despite my love for iPad and the amount of internet reading I do on it. The concept of buying a book to read on my iPad still seems crazy. My eyes would hate me if I started reading all books on my iPad.

I read "A Dance With Dragons" on my iPad. 1700+ pages in iBooks form. Wasn't a problem.

Prefer my Kindle because I don't have to worry about it breaking my nose if I drop it onto my face when I fall asleep reading in bed.

Definitely. I also preordered it a long time ago and am anxious to read it.

I'm only seeing $16.99 here in the US on iBooks and Kindle/Amazon.
