So I recently had an interview to work in an Apple store, the interview was a little over a week ago and I'm interested to know how I've done. Previously I've known within a couple of days if I've been hired, but it seems Apple makes you sweat.

Does anyone here have experience with the time it takes the UK side of the retail division to let you know if you've got the job?

I doubt youll get a response from anyone that works for Apple right now - under your contract you are forbidden from being a member at sites like this.

UK retail are pretty fast.

That said, I was really unimpressed with their interview methods and I feel that their poor selection methods reflect in the poor performance of a lot of the shop floor staff. Apple seem to rely on having "fun" personalities over having any actual product knowledge, as their interviews don't even take a look at that kind of thing.

Needless to say, I actually turned the job down when offered.
