Whoa! Battery life horrendous after last update!

What’s going on? I haven’t done anything different and changed any settings and battery life is real bad!

Anyone notice this after last update!

I have the Watch series 8

No problems here. You might have an app or two stuck open or not optimized. If you are sure that is not the case, consider repairing or setup as new.

I would restart the watch and phone before doing anything drastic.

WatchOS 9.3 Battery problems

I was noticing battery not as good as before installing latest update too, but didn’t think much of it because I was still getting full day no problem. Then I saw that my WIFI was turned on by default after the update and I hadn’t noticed. Turned it off and that fixed the issue.

Strange thing was after charging tonight the WIFI was back on again somehow.

I was posting this, but saw that it was already posted.

My battery life on this watch used to be good, but it has gone down since the update. I’m ending up with around 20% less battery at the end of the day than I had before the update. I have changed nothing on the watch in the last couple of months. I have rebooted both the watch and the phone. It’s made no difference.

My battery life has also gone down considerably since installing watchOS 9.3.1. I end up with 20-40% less battery power, at the end of the da, compared to before the update :-(
