When I was ordering my MacBook Pro on Tuesday, I forgot to add my iPod. If when I receive my computer and take it with me along with a receipt to the Apple Retail Store, will they be able to give me one along with the rebate? or am I out of luck?

I imagine if you explain to them that you will just return the computer and do the purchase over again, they will be more then happy to give you the iPod, especially if it is custom-ordered.

You can try to call the Apple Online Store (1-800-MY-APPLE) and talk to one of their agents. They might be able to sell you one through there and get you set up for the rebate. If not, they can probably help you out with the Apple Retail Store.

LOL... I'll go without the iPod, I don't really need another one... still worth a try, gotta go to Apple Store anyway.

I have a similar story but only with the free printer. i just contacted sales support and told them about it so they updated my order with the printer in it and i got the rebate. Should be similar with the iPod.

Good tip. Thanks. I'll keep your post in mind when I order my iMac - just in case I hash something up.
