yes i did search and realized that alot of people are having noise issues with the western digital scorpio blue drives. I installed a 500gb model over the weekend and its pretty loud. My question for macrumors is what is everyone replacing their scorpio blue's with? ive also read about noise issues with just about every other 500gb drive

on the seagate hdd's i was just reading bad reviews about the xt (hybrid) and was scared. I got this 500gb scorpio for $60 from best buy the seagate is $89 to be quiet is deff worth the extra money
