I definately am. I was almost certain they wouldn't but phew, thank god they did. The reception issue isn't the big issue for me, it's more the proximity issue that bothers me the most. If they didn't address it, I woulda returned my phone. Anyone else glad????

I am. It doesn't affect my phone so much, but it does affect my wife's phone.

Umm, do you actually expect anyone to reply "No, I'm actually not happy they addressed the proximity sensor issue."? Hope you're not a journalist by trade.

While they haven't actually addressed it yet (as the update isn't out), I'm glad they've at least accepted there is a problem.

Um, I am trying to bright light to the fact that most of us didn't think it would have been brought up during the conference...thank you very much..

If you watch the conference video on apple. At ~28.10 minutes, he states that "hopefully" they will have the fixes in the next software update.
At least they recognize that a "small number" of users are seeing the problem.

I already called about returning mine, I'm not going to wait on a "hopeful" software upgrade.

Yes I am happy too.

It seems like an easy fix. Just make it so it takes maybe 1 whole second for it to switch the screen on.
