It seems that over a 24 month period, buying a sim-free iphone 4 and using the simplicity tariffs offer a better deal than the iphone contracts.
Is anyone else doing this?

Might go down this route too, it works out roughly the same and there is a lot more flexibility doing it this way but the initial outlay is a lot.

sames here - I ordered the sim-free iPhone and will use Text & Web from O2. £10-15 a month, but only in the months you need it (i.e. not when traveling).

iPhone 4 :D [getting all excited]

Luckily I was just out of contract so I just changed over to a Simplicity 15, 300 minutes, unlimited text and data. I've got a 32gb sim-free on order for delivery on Thursday.

Just need to track down a micro sim before then, and hopefully swap my sims before the Thursday rush.
