How long a battery lasts on a charge is determined by a number of factors, including screen brightness, WiFi, bluetooth, apps/widgets/processes running, etc. No two are alike. There are hundreds of battery threads where this is explained in detail, as well as hundreds of threads where people have posted screenshots of their battery health. This should answer most, if not all, of your battery questions:I have a 2008 MBP and with daily usage my machine has hundreds of cycles. Post a screenshot if you can. Also how long does your battery last? I'd say with heavy usage mine lasts 2 hours with full brightness.

It's an early 2009 aluminum MacBook that's survived 7 falls onto concrete or other hard surfaces, wasn't shutdown for almost 4 months, had the glass covering the screen shatter, and has caused second degree burns to my thighs and yet it soldiers on. It's nickname is the Terminator if you're interested.
