Who’s gotten “crash detected” on Apple Watch Ultra ? A “hard fall” in Apple Watch speak.
I’ve had the AWU2 since December 2023, I Mtb 3-4 times a week.

This happened Wednesday September 11, 2024.
Was supposed to be happy “New Bike Day” before my Germany September 11 - 16 trip. Instead I went OTB. Well overall all good, nothing broke but my abdomen got slammed and I feel it. I guess too much “newness” at one time: New dual suspension bike, has dropper post, has electronic shifting, with new brakes (not fully bedded pads to rotors, did 20 stops on 300 foot driveway Tuesday sept 10th )

I’m curious the g forces that watch saw in the crash, anyone know how to view that information?

”Hard Fall” I’ve had. Not from a fall but actually from throwing something, the watch thought the sudden movement was a fall. Never had Crash Detection trigger. Also never been over the handlebars while wearing an Apple Watch :D

Ouch. At least it wasn't worse! We have a local theme park here with big roller coasters. When this feature first came out the news reported tons of Apple Watch's calling police due to the crash/fall detection while people were on roller coasters.

I got crash detection on my series 9 when I got T-boned. It immediately started calling my wife and I think it called 911. I didn't even have cellular.

The one time that I got the "Hard Fall" warning, I actually didn't fall. I had banged my left arm and watch on something. The time that I actually did fall, the watch didn't do anything.
