So, who is skipping work or school for Macworld 08? I definetly am.

I can't really miss review for mid-terms. I'm debating on whether to be checking periodically on my iPhone or to just wait until I get home after-school to receive the spoiler-free link to the keynote.

i want to attend. It'll be my first. Is this something every mac user should experience at least once? how much $$ ? What type of event/activities should I expect? what is the purpose?

I could be wrong but I believe to get into the Keynote you have to have a full Macworld pass, which runs $1695. Here is more info.

I think you can get a Keynote pass for $299. See this thread.

I'm saving up my time off from work for the MotoGP season so I'll be flying up after work then back after a few user conferences.

I'm from the UK so I won't have to skip work. I'll be home about the time it all kicks off anyway.

Ah, MWSF is one of the times I'm reminded how nice it is to be my own boss.

I'll close Mail, put the iPhone on silent, and pray for MacPro/ACD updates.
