Who's thinking of selling their 6 plus?

Never really considered it until recent craziness of the 6+ being in short demand had come up, but wondering if anyone is now gauging to see the market and considering selling your 6+? If you were to consider it, how much would it take for you to sell outright?

I bought a 128GB 6+ and renewed a contract for 2 years. Cost of the phone was 499 + tax + 30 upgrade fee, ended up being about 550. Considering to replace it, I'd have to buy it at full price, 950, I wouldn't sell it for anything less than 1700 or so to make a few bucks. Otherwise there's no point in selling it now (unless I was ok with keeping my 5s for another 2 years, which I'm not. Been itching for a larger iphone).

That said, I don't think I could get enough to make it worth it to me, so I'll be keeping it
 
I'd sell it for 2X. But since it's a $949 phone it's tough to imagine anyone paying $1900 for an iPhone!
 
I still don't have a good understanding of how people sell it legitimately. Isn't the sim tied to your account?

No. The carriers don't really care what you do with it, they just care that you're stuck in a 2 year contract and are paying a subsidy for it still
 
I'm curious, how do you sell your phone if it is locked to a contract? Don't you have to get it unlocked first, and to do that don't you have to not be under a contract with one of the carriers?
 
I ordered four.. Two for me/wife, and two to sell.

iPhone 6+ 128GB Gold -- UNLOCKED

I should have it very soon (it's being shipped. I'm guessing Sat? Mon? Tues?)

If someone was crazy enough to offer me $$$ that would make me a profit of $500 or more then, heck, why not! Anything less, I wouldn't even bother.

You have to trust that the person who sold it to you completes the contract of AT&T will turn your expensive phone into a useless brick.

Even if you pull the SIM out, they can kill the phone at will.
 
I read an article that the gold 128gb version is going for almost 4 grand on the gray market in China. Thats just insanity
 
I'd sell it for anything over $1200 cash. I prefer money over a device that will readily be available in two months...
