I am currently using this setup (see signature for details).
It's perfect for me. One computer to manage, but the best of both worlds. 15" Hi-Res AntiGlare for on the road (and it's portable), then the screen for my iMac-like experience (or Hybrid-iMac as I call it) at home. It's awesome, but pricey.
