Was late in the pre-ordering game due to my indecisiveness so I'll attempt to get the SS Gold 44mm with sports band this Friday.

Who else is on the same boat?

going to try and pickup another phone Friday..maybe getting there by 06:00 PST. Worked fine last year. for my local apple enterprise store.

Staying in a hotel in a city with no sales tax. I’m going to hit the verizon store next door on Friday morning to see if I can buy the SB Aluminum that I ordered. Will essentially save me the equivalent of AppleCare plus.

I’ll return the ordered watch if I luck out.

Stanford shopping center, at 6:30 (store opens 8:00) I showed up and was 14th in line. Got what I wanted, but it took over 35 minutes to work through about 10 reservation holders and the 13 ppl ahead of me. I started pretty fast, 2-3 minutes per person, then it took over 15 minute for me to go in after #13. Took five minutes inside, was out by 8:40.

There were only about 15 ppl BEHIND me by 08:00, so demand today was a FRACTION of what it was last year for the X launch. Either ppl aren't interested, or it's not enough of an upgrade, or everyone ordered online in advance.

Oh, and if you wanted a WATCH, it was walk in at any time, no waiting.
