well I played for 2 hours last time and got very close and didn't get it.. then woke up at 5am and got it.. I wouldn't say was a game I wanted to play but I wanted to get it first and sell my old phone as soon as possible.
 
I honestly think I am going to just go out on the 21st and get one from a store. If the last iPad release is any indication, Apple will have stocked up a lot of iPhones for this launch. I am not expecting a huge shortage of stock.

If the last iPhone release is any indication, there will still be a long line. :cool:
 
Totally staying up to order through AT&T. I know, they suck, but the process was flawless last time and I got the phone a full day before launch. Now, what movies do I watch until 2AM?
 
Some of us freaking work tomorrow. :p

I'm debating just waiting a few days. Sure I want one.... But I want to be same about it too!
 
sux for us east coast people, since we gotta wait till 3:00 am lol damn, but ill be up. If i over sleep ill be pissed:mad:
 
I was going to preorder but thought that they'd stock up extra so would pop into a shop sometime after it gets released and pick one up then. No having to wake up extra early. More time to sleep :D
 
8:00am for us in the UK so really not too bad.

Only problem is that it's a very accessible time for everyone meaning even more people trying to pre order!

Same here. It wouldn't be so bad if I had any faith at all in being able to get throught the process in a timely manner (10 minutes at most). Alas, I suspect I will be sitting for an hour or more dealing with crashes, time-outs, etc, probably only to give up and get my ass back to bed, get up early for work tired as well, and then get my online pre-order in too late to get in the first batch of shipments.

I guess you could say I'm a glass half empty kind of guy :p
 
Some of you who are hoping to pick one up in a store may want to reconsider. There is word there may be a shortage due to Sharp not shipping enough screens. So keep that in mind.

I may end up ordering at 3am after all! I think I'll set an alarm and have my laptop by the bed, and just order it in my groggy state and go back to sleep.
 
how the **** are you guys excited to wake up at 3 am and order it? wish theyd just do it some other way.
