Whose going for 14" pro (lower to mid end) VS. low end 16" pro?

Surprised to see most apple stores here on the West Coast have stock today to pick up on these things!? Learning towards a lower to mid level 14" for size, but for just a few hundred more I can get the base model 16" which has that sexy screen! Mostly would not leave the house except for occasional coffee shop or a trip here or there... Anyone else in a similar situation?

If it mostly would not leave the house I would take the 16" everyday that screen is gorgeous. If you don't have a particularly computational heavy workflow, even the base 16" will be amazing

Just had my base 16" 1tb delivered by courier then cancelled my pre-order which was supposed to deliver 11/23-12/1. I haven't had a chance to open it yet though and will try to do that tonight after work.

I originally pre-ordered but had a delivery date of 11/23-12/1, and when I saw that my local Apple store had my configuration in stock and available for delivery today, I placed another order.

However, once my order went through for delivery today, I cancelled my pre-order.

Ordered the base 14 with 1tb and the upgraded charger. It looks like it will smoke me early 2015 with i7 3.1. Like the smaller size.

I went base 14. Coming from an M1 Air. I really just do some crazy Excel modeling and Office stuff but want to get into some photo and video editing (we'll see). Either way, it's going to do what I want and way more, plus the 16 is way too large for my taste.

Ordered base 16". Space Gray, 512Gb, 16Gb RAM, M1 Pro. Almost feel like I ordered a budget laptop, compared to the monstrosities people get on this forum and not one of the most expensive laptops on the market (also, FYI, the base config in my country costs 3100 euro - tax included - that's $3600 for you lucky Americans. Yup, the base model).

It should arrive this Friday, I'm so excited!
