Sept. 16th is when it was set to officially launch according to my job (AT&T). I've been running iOS 7 Beta 6 since release though so I have no true clue.

Does this mean I cant ask what colors the new iPhones will be and if there'll be a Haswell iMac this October ??

I don't know "Release time of iOS 7" seems like as clear title as can be for just one of the existing threads about it.
