Why 120 Mbps on My MacBook Pro but Only 13 Mbps on my iPhone 5S & iPad Air?!

I've been dealing with this issue for a while and it's really pissing me off. I get REALLY inconsistent download speeds on my iDevices. Usually it ranges from 5-15 Mbps, but a few times I've gotten 40-50. Very rarely.

On my MacBook Pro, I get 100+ consistently off the same wifi signal from the same damn router (Airport Extreme)

What the hell is going on?

Are all devices on 5GHz? Often the 2.4 is so crowded and more power & larger antennae then win.
Are you close to the router?

Did you notice that this thread that you woke up is from 2 1/2 years ago?
Probably has it sorted out by now (along with replacing devices at least once, according to OPs posts.)
