Why £36.16 and not the £35 a month

I have just looked at my bill on the 02 site and it says £36.16 a month how come they have added £1.16 a month on?

I remember my first bill was the same, I think they may charge you for a month+day. It went to 35 a month after.

The first bill is a month plus a day or two.

Luckily, in the UK, tax is included in the £35pm advertised price. So no, its not taxes.
