Why 500 posts? No pictures in your sig?

why cant you have an avatar until you post 500 times!? That is no fair...you cant have a signature picture! I wanted to put my signature i created as my signature picture but noooo....it wont let me! Also, I cant even do an avatar until i post 500 posts!?! I will never be that active! I haven't even scored that much points on any other forum, EVER! THAT is my complaint!

Hey! Don't come onto these forums complaining you can't have a tar right away! MR is a more civilized online community then most out there. Sig pictures and giant avatars would slow down the site plus make it look like crap. Just make about 492 more posts and you MAY have an avatar.

I think that we should make an exception just for this person. It's obvious that he's more special than the rest of us and that he should not have to prove his worth to the forums.

as said before, this has been answered countless times. While learning about our avatar rules and why they're set that way, check out the nifty search features on the board as well. You might find the answers to your questions before you ask them. again.
