I upgraded to Mojave a few weeks ago. I get kernel panics and my computer restarts now at two specific times:

1 - If the battery gets down to like 1 or 2 percent, and I close the lid. When I put in the charger and open it back up, it's rebooting after a kernel panic.

2 - I have a RAID 5. If I connect it, after I eject, I get a Kernel panic. This one is particularly frustrating since it makes it pretty hard to use the Raid.

Any ideas? I spoke to an Apple Genius who was friendly but stumped.

Answer to question 1:
Close the lid when the battery is at 7%.

Answer to question 2:
Don't put your trust in a RAID. To high a possibility of failure.
Get "regular" (i.e., non-RAID) drives instead.

You might try using the free "Semulov" to dismount the RAID volume...
