In Safari and firefox I seem to be getting redirected on certain web sites when I click on links inside them. This does not happen on some other computers I use (also Macs) and I wonder if it has something to do with my dns or ips address. I am not a techy kinda person. Mostly I am wireless. Anyone familiar with this in the MAC world?

Thanks

You said it doesn't happen on the Macs you use, so I'm to assume you have issue in Windows? If so you could have spyware.

If it's on your Mac, then what sites are you going to?

Thanks for your responses.

I only use MACS and not with windows. What I mean by redirected is that when I click on a link within this particular site (worldsex.com) It puts the linked site's address in the browser but then switches to another address (and sometimes even another) before it eventually gets to Google search or another search engine. This only happens on my MAC Book pro. Not on the IMac 20". Strange thing is all of the links will work on the IMac but only a few work on the mac book pro. Thats why I thought it may have to do with the IPS or DNS on the Mac book pro.

... I click on a link within this particular site (worldsex.com)....
Dare I say it? DUH!!! It's well-established that porn sites are full of redirection links, spyware, adware, etc. Your problem begins by going to the porn site in the first place!
