when I take pictures in a landscape mode, why is my picture having grids and not. Full screen in landscape mode?

The screen is 16:9 but the camera shoots in 4:3

Basically, the screen is widescreen, but the camera isn't.

thats typical of like every dslr camera too, some have settings where you can go 16:9, but its standard on all cameras I've used, unless I am so out of the camera game, but my Nikon D5300 are way!

Jot really when I take pictures landscape on my 6s it's full widescreen... why???

Are you taking pictures in "square" mode, as opposed to "photo"?
