Why are my pictures not displaying in iPhoto?

When I click on photo stream, this is what I see. (attached picture)

If I open up the picture it views fine but I can't see them in the grid view! Please help, its driving me mad!

Try rebuilding the Thumbnails(that's what you can't see) as here:
