well i don't get it.

why can AT&T roll out all these new cell towers for 3G and the latest network upgrades but STILL o2 leave us in the dark with GPRS!?! where I live I bearly get any bars of edge or GPRS...

why won't they upgrade us?

O2 has us over a barrel.
If you don't believe me look at the hordes of people willing to take out an additional contract with them for a 3GS...

I do understand that and I do get it. But they're not even willing to roll out the 7.2mbps network in my area...

Given the relative sizes of our nations I think 7.2mbps in 'parts of London' could be considered more or less on par. ;)

Ah! I understand, i'd perticually be happy with o2 to upgrade to give us more edge signal...

I'd rather we have O2 than At&T. At least we will have MMS and tethering on release day. :)

You and lots of people have to ask. Go to your local O2 store, or call them up and ask to basically request better coverage for your area. It's abit like broadband back in the day, when samknows covereed LLU etc.

i⋅ro⋅ny  [ahy-ruh-nee, ahy-er-nee]

The gaping chasm of incongruity between complaining about incompetance while simultaneously being unable to spell incompetent.

or, e.g.

Old Lady 1: "The food at this restaurant is terrible!"

Old Lady 2: "Yes! And such small portions!"

this thread started out with such a boring subject......now i like it

spelling for beginners :p

I swapped my 2G iPhone from O2 to T-Mobile who don't have edge at all and reasoned that I wouldn't miss edge because the only places I had edge with O2 were my work, where I shouldn't be using my phone, and my home, where I have a computer.
