Why are there holes in the new iPod touch cases

Hi everybody! This is my first Thread/post here.

From the IFA and also before we saw pictures of new iPod touch cases with a small hole on the back which looks like it's made for a camera. So why are Hama and others producing cases with an useless hole. Hmmmm.

Maybe Apple will drop a 16GB iPod touch with camera on the market later this year. Because I also think the gap between 8 and 32GB is quite large. Maybe the space saved by only putting 16GB in the iPod touch is enough for a real camera, not only videos. Steve said the sensors for photos are too thick for the nano. But not for the touch / iPhone.

So that's what I think about the new iPods.

Yeah, the manufacturer of the case should be really dumb. Who do they think they are to think they know where the camera will be on the itouch, when apple wasn't even going to make such a device.

well if the manufacturers thought there was gonna be a camera how did they know that that is where it would be? and how do they know that the camera would fit in the spot and the whole looks odd shapped for a mic. how did they know what side of the camera the mic was gonna be on? it doesnt make sense
