I see plenty of right angle lightning cables online, but I am to the brim with lightning cables (good quality ones) and don’t want any more—I just want a right angle adapter I can quickly put on and take off as needed (a lot of my cables would be difficult to switch out because of cable management).
Does anyone know of something like this, but for lightning? I’m not able to find anything for some reason.

I've spent about 2 minutes searching Google, and came up blank... So - yep, they don't exist.

Quite a few on Amazon.

Specifically like the Poyicott, not sure if I have seen something exactly like that in Lightning.

Yeah one splitter showed up in my “right angle” search results, but wasn’t really looking to split the signal. I take it this means I’d have to choose between audio or charging. That’s not great as I do want both in some cases. But if this is all there is... Thanks anyway

That is my take.
No actual right angles only ... ugh

It’s so strange. The market is crazy over saturated with all sorts of lightning accessories, but this one thing (of which I can’t be the only person in need) doesn’t exist. I wonder why that is.

The best i could find was this T adapter @dk001 linked. You could maybe use a lightning->usb-c adapter and then an usb-c right angle. But thats a bit silly.

it's not usb-c though, but it proves the concept exists :)

Edit: I thought I was somehow super smart, finding the above after 5 seconds of googling, but was beaten by a whole page of Amazon ones by svanstrom. Ah well.
I appreciate the effort, but like I said, I’m aware of the cable option, but I have tons of good cables already and I was really just looking for an adapter that I can quickly take on/off as needed.

It’s an interesting thought, but the lightning to usbc adapter would stick out too far unfortunately. I’d have to use a usbc cable of course but that’s not a big deal.

But I found a lightning adapter after all! I found a couple options but they weren’t in Amazon. In Newegg, there’s a super cheap no name brand option but it ships from China which I avoid. But Adorama and Best Buy has a right angle adapter apparently made for camera gear. Adorama is cheaper but I’ve never ordered from there and Best Buy has price matching and Apple Pay so I’m probably going with the latter.

Thanks anyway, all, for the input!

edit: actually, I searched for that same adapter in Amazon and it showed up. I guess amazon’s algorithms didn’t work too well there.

If I may ask do you have link to the site?
Sure, the links are in my post (#11), but here they are again:

This is the one I ordered (from Best Buy but it’s also available in other sites like Amazon, BH Photo, and Adorama for a little cheaper).

This is another option but it ships from China.

Take a look at Titan+ cables, I'm already using them for a year now and I'm very satisfied! I've both version for iPhone and Android, using them in my car, the angled USBs and ligthning are very comfort when you're using a big phone such as 12 Pro Max.

I just realized this adapter will also be handy for charging my first gen Pencil so that it doesn’t have to stick out of the iPad so precariously. If it works well maybe I’ll order a second adapter for this.

It hasn’t arrived yet, but a couple of the reviews made me a little concerned that this adapter might not work reliably. They said something about an iOS update breaking compatibility. Apparently it’s not as simple as just extending the lightning signal. Maybe that’s the reason there are so few of these lightning to lightning adapters.

In case anyone is interested in the Saramonic right angle lightning adapter I got—it charges my 12.9 iPad Pro well (but I think a little slower), but it doesn’t really work on my iPad mini for some reason. I can sometimes get it to charge the mini if I fiddle with the connection between the cable and adapter, but usually not. I mainly got it for the Pro though so I’ve accepted it.

I have been on the same search, some random thoughts;

21st century marketing is about quick inventory turnover and the wise guys figure you get the accessories you need when you buy something and lightning devices are yesterday's items.

I have considered the Saramonic item but there was a useful review that it didn't work with the camera adapter which their customer service confirmed which probably indicates not all contacts are wired. Work ok as a charger but like every charger/headphone adapter I've tried they don't connect all contacts. Glad all you wanted was a charger connection or basic data connection.

Same here, been looking for ages. However nothing I have found either a USB A or USB C cable are certified. That is also with some of the 3rd party charges. I was even on the VOLTA kickstarter/indigo I was all set to move forward with a ten pack that included rat angle as well and USB C to USB A adapters. However there was a lot of chatter and finally they divided the cables into two groups one with PD 3.0 support and only handle 65w, and the other group 100w and no PD V3.0. I am also having issues with 4 of the 100W chargers that are supposed to be PD V3.0 from hyperdrive. They no longer work correctly on USB A with an Apple Watch puck. Moving forward, anything I’m purchasing will have to have Apple certification.
APPLE PLEASE A RIGHT ANGLE USB C CABLE SO when using the 12.9” iPad Pro 2021/2020 you can rest it on your lap while holding. Apple, you will greatly increase your cable sales if at the 2M length you offer this for both USB A and USB C devises.
