I was reading some of the posts in there and I was laughing my ass off, but it seems if you jump back further in the past, it seems there was more posts making its way there before. I guess the admin keeps only the best posts and deletes the other ones? Too bad because it would be very funny to read whatever is deleted

As far as I can tell, that is not happening. I see posts there going back to 2002.
I know, but like, 10 years ago there were more posts in wasteland and now new ones are less frequently added in there

I don't see that any threads have been removed, but I do think the current mods tend to use Wasteland less than mods in the past.

I kinda wish more low effort, ranty threads would make their way to the wasteland...

I guess those sorts of threads will fade into obscurity instead of given the dubious distinction of a one way trip to Wasteland which seems to be only for the truly deserving (like a "hall of shame"?), although I'm not exactly sure what qualifies a thread to be so honored.

I don't know ... the mods are pretty active here. IMO they'd probably have to at least triple their staff in order to wasteland more.
