I haven't used a Screensaver since Windows 95. :eek:

There is a clock screensaver that some people here use though, I don't know where you could find it though. Others are using Keycard, but you need an additional iOS device to use it.

But yeah, a lot of people prefer to turn off their screen with brightness controls, or just closing the lid on their laptop these days. I use the standby on my G5 even.
 
Screen savers became cool in the 90s, at about the same time that computer monitors no longer needed them to prolong the life of the phosphor.

Screen savers will still be useful until the image retention issues with the rMBPs and new iMacs are resolved.
 
Can someone help me i'am trying to find the screensaver that was on Jess's Mac in the Sci fi show Primeval for those that watched the show do you know what screen saver it is.
