The first time in history we see a device that combines both desktop ecosystem (e.g. web, TV, 3A game, download) and mobile ecosystem (e.g. APPs, mobile game, steaming), so the ecosystem is super large, which is the fundamental reason for its sucess
 
Think about one scenario, if you want to use certain kind of "private" application, it is better off web based then app based. For generic applicatoin, app based is faster as you do not have to key in an address and login frequntly

My Quest 3 literally does everything you listed there. Yes, the imagine quality of pass through isnt comparable but I hardly use this anyway as the whole point for me is to "escape" to another world and not look at my apartment

But does it come with a multi thousand dollar Apple logo?
 
I remember this with the iPad and the iPad Mini and the watch and even the OG iPhone… it was full of naysayers and people in disbelief… *sigh* 🤷🏾‍♂️
