Surely they can make the 9.7" as thin as the mini one now? There must be a reason why it makes no sense the new one is actually heavier than Ipad 3?

Retina displays require significantly more power than traditional displays, hence the need for a much larger battery. The iPad 2 with a traditional display gets 10 hours of life with a 25Wh battery while the iPad 3/4 requires a 42Wh (68% larger) battery to obtain the same usable life.Surely they can make the 9.7" as thin as the mini one now? I swear you're got mental issues. You try and find every way to downgrade the newest iPad. Why isn't the newest iPad a thin as the mini? Hey genius.....it's not a redesign. It's an update.
BTW, the newest iPad is a whopping 2 more grams heavier. That's literally nothing. What doesn't make sense are all your threads.
Your threads are horrible.
The retina display is bringing down the fatPad. It uses more power and takes up more space.
Not a full upgrade. Just took the left over iPad 3's and put a few specs in for the 4.
