Why can't I copy and burn data to DVD w/ 10.5?

I work with large video files that frequently need to be burned to DVD for clients. Not playable DVDs, just quicktime files.

10.4 let me copy the file and paste it onto a burnable DVD. 10.5 makes aliases. Doesn't make sense to me...

How can I get the actual files to burn? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I had this problem with Tiger. I had to right-click on the contents, and "copy" and then "paste" into the DVD folder.

Whenever I drag-n-dropped in Tiger, it would only make aliases.

Yeah, that's what I had grown accustomed to as well...

It seems that maybe in 10.5, you only have to drag and drop the files. They will show up as aliases in the DVD finder folder, but when you burn, it seems to burn the actual files instead of aliases.

This is how 10.4 should have worked, but I got used to the old way. I'm trying just dragging/dropping/burning and seeing if it works.
