Why can't I email from 3rd party apps?

I have Craigslist and a couple other 3rd party apps installed and I can't email from those apps. Like when I'm on Craigslist and I'm trying to reply to a ad Iir takes me to the new email sign up page and I kinda hate that. Anyway around that?

Like inside the capital one ing app when I hit the contact us button it does the same.

It sounds like your device isn't configured to send/receive email. Set up your existing email account in settings app > mail, contacts, calendars
