In the User CP, I selected the Nyan Cat .gif as my avatar. It took it just fine. But when viewing any of my posts, it is not animated. Anything I need to do?

Why Can't I have an Animated Avatar?

If an animated avatar doesn't work as an avatar, it may be exceeding the size limit described on the avatar page.
Depending on how the MacRumors servers are set for caching, it can take a couple of hours for avatar changes to show up, so give it enough time to see if it works.
If it's within the size limit and still doesn't work, post in this thread with the avatar you're trying to use as an attachment so somebody else can check it or try it.

It was 329 bytes over the limit
Edit: But ehh whatever.... I'm going back to my QR code avatar.
