Why can't I post anywhere?

I tried to make a post in the discussions and page 2 rumors when that failed, but I couldn't post ANYWHERE but here.

I took a screenshot noting that the iMac disappeared off the listings of "Apple products" on the left side, and I wanted to point that out in the discussions section, but could not post. Why is that?

You should be able to reply to threads in those areas, but the two areas you mentioned don't allow us mortals to create threads in them.

Try "Community" or "Current Events". You should be fine.

Making a post?

Hey, I'm a new user and I still cannot find out how to make a new post- I have a question about iphoto resolution after switching from tiger to leopard- and it's not a current problem with anyone so i want to throw it out there. Thanks for your help

There is a section in the FAQ about how to post. Have a read and see if you can follow it.
