General Why can't I print photos on plain paper?

Every time I try to print something from the photos app, ios 8 just keeps asking me for photo paper. I just want to use normal plain A4 paper. Can I do that?

Because of the size of the image, and the fact I guess your printer has a small 5 x 7 paper tray, it's probably trying to print on that. In the settings you should be able to change it to default to A4.
