It won't let me print a shipping label. I was hoping to take the flash drive to FedEx Office so that I could print a shipping label for an Amazon return. In the meantime, I'm still trying to decide on a printer.
It should be able to be opened with the "Preview app". You don't have to select a browser to open it with. I open and print UPS shipping labels from Amazon using Preview and it works fine. If the label has a scanning code on it, FedEx can use that.Hi Nermal. If I Right-click it, it'll bring up a window and ask me which browser I want to open it with - which is fine - but I don't know if I'll be able to do that with FedEx's copier/printer.
Yes I do have one printer driver installed and I was able to save the shipping label image to a PDF format using that printer driver like you suggested, but why does it save the image to a huge 1200x1800 size?@Merkava_4 - do you have any printer drivers installed? If you do, you could select this printer and then print to a PDF. Save the PDF on your Flash drive and then take that to FedEx?
For some strange reason, the shipping label on the Amazon page doesn't get saved to a PDF format when I save it. I have no idea what format it's in. I did indeed take the package to a UPS store; that's when I found out from the girl who works there that the label was not in a PDF format and that's why she couldn't open it on her computer. I told the girl that I assumed it was already in a PDF format and I was surprised to find out that it wasn't.It should be able to be opened with the "Preview app". It's actually easier to send your return to Amazon via a UPS store rather than FedEx. The code that Amazon gives you can be read directly into the UPS system and a label (your receipt) will automatically be printed for you.
I just did that exact same thing last week. I have a UPS store 5 minutes from my home.
